replacement speakers for the mosoon???
I would get the speaker rebuilt. It will be cheaper and easier then to find a replacement with the way that GM screwed up the monsoon system.
It won't be easy to find a person who rebuilds speakers as it is a lost art, but if you ask around I am sure you will find.

You can get replacement Monsoon speakers from link below. I just bought one for the rear panel next to the seat, 4" round and it was $ 17.50.

I had a blown out one in my drivers side door and replaced it with a 6 3/4" Pioneer 4 way sounds much better and basically dropped right in. Definetely recomend something like that
I would say either puchase an exact replacement. If you want to upgrade, then, depending on which speaker popped there are a couple of options. The main key is to keeping the ohm load the same to the amp.

$65 sounds about right for a 6.5" midbass speaker. I went to a local audio store and they quoted the same sized JL for $90 each. Here are some speakers that should work with that application and they are free-air which you will need unless you find a way to enclose part of the inside of the panel. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

factory subs are 2ohm. Camaro have single voice coils - 2ohm, Trans Am has dual voice coils - 4ohm + 4ohm.
You can pull the factory sub out, and get the part number off of it.
Then go to gmpartsdirect.com and put the number in their search engine. I checked on the trans am sub yesterday and it was like $41 shipped to me.
