Question help please

ok i have 4 subs 2 are 10s in there own box each and the other 2 are 12s in a custom built box. i only have 1 amp for all 4, its a kicker 800 watt amp.
my question is dont i need another amp ,like how does this work i dont get it , i see some people with one (10) and like 3 amps to it, iam confused can someone tell me how all of this works, i get a little bit but not all of it.oh and the 12s have 800 watts each, 400 rms each and the 10s i have no idea (long story) here is a pic of my system-

and the amp-

i want to have full use of all of these subs someone told me to get a 1600 watt amp for the 2 12s so if i want as loud as i can get what should i do? thanks

and 1 more question on the custom built box there are no wholes, shouldent there be some air wholes like on the 10s thanks.

that is a four channel amp you coud hook one sub up to each channel, but it it would be SUPER underpowered. i would bridge it down to 2 chanels and run it to the 10s and get a biger amp for the 12s

Edit- and that box does not need holes, those holes with tubes are ports and it is a sealed box so dont just drill holes

can you explain to me what you mean by bridgeing and do you think i should turn the subs (12s) upside down, i have seen that before when i tried it it sounded louder thanks.

You dont want to mix sub sizes like that. You will faze them out, unless you put them at very different tunes.

bridging is basicaly turning 4 chanels into 2 or 2 into 1, that amp should have 4 positve and 4 negitive speaker wire terminals hook it up like it say for bridged in this manual http://www.kicker.com/05/tech-suppor...rs_R032904.pdf it is the picture with 2 speakers conected to the amp

You can turn the subs upside down if you want to but you need to reverse the positive and negitive conections on the sub, and it will sound the same probably.
