Default Whole system help...

Okay first off I know NOTHING about car audio...

The car is a 94 Trans Am.

I was looking at this...looks okay and is most certainly better than stock..and is fairly cheap since money is kind of an issue...

A pair of these

http://www.cardomain.com/item/KENKFCW2509

Use these for my front and rear speakers

http://www.cardomain.com/item/KENKFCP705IE?vq_id=none

Use this for an amp

http://www.cardomain.com/item/KENKAC8402

And this for a HU

http://www.cardomain.com/item/KENKDC3028?vq_id=none

Okay now tell me how it probably wouldnt even all hookup right or something and Im a moron probably :/

Should work out all right... Maybe get the next step up on that amp as far as power wise. Dont forget though, if you have a 4 channel, bridge them into two channel for the subs. (the amp is for the subs right)

Just make sure that the surround speakers will fit in your application. If not, it will be tough. Good luck.

I did all my **** and it all got ripped of 2 months later!!

Look at a different amp. You'll need one that will work in 3 channel mode if you're set on getting a single amp. That will let you power the front and your sub.

The best setup is really to have a seperate amp for your highs and your subs. That way you can adjust your gains independently, allowing your better control over imaging and other such car audio specific nonsense.

Also, not to burst your bubble, but if you have a strong enough amp, and good enough speakers, you really only need highs up front and then your subs, no need to fill in the other useless stock locations.

Okay then.

Well first question is since both of you said a better amp either of you got any reccomendations? You can probably get an idea of what Im wanting to spend.

Second Okay I see what your saying about only needing the 2 fronts although the question is are the speakers I picked good enough (amp too but I need a new one so hopefully that would be.)

And third since I do use my t-tops fairly often I was wondering if just one 10" in a stealth box would be enough. If so guess you guys might as well tell me the best one for a decent price.

And yeah I do know about subthump or whoever it is that makes those t-top boxes its just that there pretty expensive..at least to my poor ***.Plus with the amount of money Im gonna spend on the whole system spending that much on a box doesnt seem worth it to me.

Not familiar with the 94 set ups (speaker config.) But, you can easily replace the stockers with an upgraded speaker (but alot cheaper then those 169 dollar ones) and use the factory amp with your new head unit and it will sound ALOT better.. If you go with one 10", you should get a WS7 sub and it will out thump your 2 you have posted up top with out a doubt, but will need a BIGGER amp.. But, it is more expensive. Just keep an eye on how much cube's you have available in that box and try to match it with the sub.
What is the configuration on the 94's?

stay away from that amp since they rate the power at 14.4 V, most cars see 13.8. but when your crusing down the street with the volume cranked it can go down to 11 or so.

If i were you i would get a 4 channel amp and then a mono amp to power the subs.

Good 4 channel amp would be the JBL 80.4 then you could go with a JBL 600.1 to power those subs.

Pretty sure the speaker config is the same as your 99.

I couldnt find that sub at all. Probably too expensive anyway.

Camaro I couldnt find either of the ones you talked about.Did fine one pretty close to the name though and it was 450$ so if they are near that there much to expensive for me.

Guys I clear a measly 1k a month..I get that spending 2k or whatever on a system would be better. It just isnt going to happen for me.

My T-top space is filled with my box. I have no problem laying in the back ond propped against the rear seat. Just replace the factory speakers, get a amp and a pair of subs and build a box (or wait till you find a good deal on one).. Here is that site.. But yea, they are rather on the spendy side. http://www.jlaudio.com/

If you use Yahoo shopping, you can find some replacement speakers for under 40 bucks a pair for sure.. Some are name brand too.. I bought a pair of 6+9's for my truck, they were pyramid and 40 bucks to my door. Not the best but for sure better then than stockers. Good luck.

Yeah just putting them in the back seat is an option I was also considering.

Yeah that sub looks pretty good.Least I think it does I dont know much.

400$ on ebay kinda says no for me though.

Well what speakers/amp should I look for?Would be nice to not waste my money here
