Default need help please

i want to upgrade my factory monsoon. i have dont want to spend a ton of money. i already have an Aiwa cdc-304 hu. a local stereo shop suggested i get alpine sps-170a speakers for the doors, a set of pioneer ts-g1040r's for the hatch, and a kenwood kac-7202 amp, but i forgot to ask about the sail pannel speakers. would the alpines go there? does any of it sound like it will work? i am more worried about the performance of my car than the stereo, but i do want it to sound better than it does now with blown factory speakers.

I'v heard nothing but good things about these speakers. Have a low pass filter turned on for bass. There not really made for full range sound, but I hear they pound even though there 6.5". You might have to do a little work though to make em fit, those magnets are huge

Yup. Those are good speakers. They are about a $100 for the pair. They say $50 but that is for each. You need a pair.

Right now, these look like the best speaker. I'm tempted to get a set for myself to play around with and see what they can really do, but I need to get some $$ together 1st.
