By the spare tire is a shock sensor. Does that mean I have an alarm?

most likely. i was in the same situation as you couple of months ago. i bought mine from a dealership that had turned the stock alarm off. Just read into the owners manual and it should show you how to reactivate it. Its really simple, thats all i did
