Default Locks when turning on.

How do i get the power door locks to stop locking and unlocking thereselfs when i turn the ignition on and off? The reason i ask is because i don't have the owners manual.

There was no factory capability to lock or unlock the doors when the ignition was turned on/off. You'll have to find out what kind of aftermarket alarm system or keyless entry system is installed in your car and get the instructions for that.

The owner's manuals for DEI products (including Viper alarms) are available on their web site www.directed.com but the installation manuals for their alarm systems aren't there anymore. The owner's manual mentions that the door locking with the ignition is a programmable option but it doesn't say how to change the programming. I'm sure you could stop in at a shop that installs them and they would tell you how to change it or maybe someone here has one and knows how to program it.
