? About min. power for an L7 My buddy has a jeep and his sub and amp were recently fried during a rain - he had the top off. anyways, he bought an 05 10" L7 w/ 4 ohms impedence, and the local stereo shop says he can run it off 350 watts rms, while the Kicker website recommends 600...anybody tried running that low under the suggested rms and not have any problems? Thanks for the help..

go with a bit bigger than recommended ported box for it.....probably about .25 cu ft or so, that will make the sub a bit more efficient.....350rms is plenty for it to move, just don't crank the gain on the amp and clip it. i've seen the older style L7's die from 500rms so i hope the newer version has been improved upon.
