Very recently I had $300+ of Infinity Speakers installed, not to mention a new stereo i got for my b-day (Im 18 now woot!!), and I already hear buzzing in both the front and rear passanger side speakers. I'm not sure if it's just an installation error or a problem with the actual system itself bc im new to all this, but just a heads up that if youre gonna go with non factory speakers, watch out for the infinity's.

Install issue, not a speaker issue. If you're using an aftermarket amp, you're probably getting a ground loop. Try relocating the amp ground to a better location - make sure there's lots of metal around it, and sand where ever you atach the ground down to bare metal. Paint interferes with a good ground contact.

Look for a spot on the car - seat bracket bolt, something like that which bolts to a large metal area - and remove as much paint as possible where the ground wire will touch.

When you guys with the Infinity Kappas installed them, did you re-use the quick connects from the factory system?

I snipped mine off the back of my stock speakers and soldered them onto the Infinity's.

Is that what you all did?

For the record, I think they sound great and if you don't feel like going all out, or you're just looking for a replacement/upgrade without replacing your monsoon I highly recommend them.
