Go have your charging system tested to make sure your alt. is putting out enough power. A lot of places do it for free, at least around here anyway. Its been my experiance over the years that, and amp can kill a stock charging system really fast.

Had it tested at autozone and everything passed. Although the guy said that it is very likely that the alternator could be getting ready to go...

Does it just do it at a stop light for example when it idles down, just a small flicker, but enough to catch your eye?

Sorry, I dont mean to butt in here but my lights do that and I am bone stock. I have had it tested at checkers and everything was fine. Battery and charging system were good.

The lights have done that on all three of the 4th gens I've owned when they were stock. It's just one of those quirks of the car.

Ok so today i noticed something that i had not before. When i start up the car the gauge reads perfectly. But the longer i drive the lower the volts read. after 30min it drops almost 3 volts almost touching the middle line 13?? if i remember correctly.

I don't believe its charging system (alternator) or battery problem. (well atleast one that didn't come from the factory)

I had my charging system tested as well, and it was perfect, yet mine still did it. I have heard its a voltage spike from the air pump turning on and off (or something to that extent), but mine still does it with !AIR. ANd I just started noticing it again when it got cold outside. Hmmm

I agree. you might have 'wore out' the alternator.
