Has anyone ordered from CarDomain before?
Has anyone ordered from CarDomain before? I just ordered about $1000 worth of audio equipment last night, and they call me today telling me that the bank my credit card is from won't "verify my information" for them. What's this?
My bank wants written authorization saying that it's ok for CarDomain to do this.
Anyone ordered from CarDomain and had this happen? Should I be worried about this, or should I just give the bank my written authorization for CarDomain to "verify my information".

I have heard of the bank calling you and verifing info before the paid it to make sure it wasn't stolen. Makes sense that they are doing b/c of the amount. I have ordered from cardomain before with out any problems.
I've had a bank call me before they've allowed a charge to take place, but this is CarDomain calling my bank to verify my billing information. I don't know.
I guess they've got a good reputation so I probably shouldn't worry about it.

Cardomain called me once to verify when I used a charge card. It is probably a random practice of thiers.

That's fine then. Very odd though...CarDomain won't ship me anything until they can verify that I'm really me, and my bank won't verify my address for CarDomain because they're protecting my personal information.
