Default Diamond amps, any good?

I am looking at getting a system put into my car and was quoted on Diamond amps. He said they were equal to JL audio, I have heard from a few that Diamond makes exellent subs but never heard anything about there amps.

What do you guys think?

I havent tried Diamond but I highly recommend Zapco! Their Reference series is really nice and the Competition series is unbeatable!

I have a pair of Diamond amps going into my Yukon next week, they are going to be replacing my Alpine V12 amps. My Alpine sub amp shuts down while trying to push a single Audiomobile Mass-12 2ohm sub, I expect the Diamond amps to do much better.

I will post back with the results next week, if you don't mind waiting.

Did a lot of research before assemblying my system (All Diamond except H/U and changer). It can be pricey but from I've read and listened to they make quality equipment.

Here is my install.
