Battery Cable Bolt/Post swap The previous owner of my camaro had a system in the car and put an aftermarket post in place for the positive terminal. A Brass one i believe. Well i no longer have the system, and am building my race car. What i need to do, is get this to fit into my new battery properly. the stock ones fit properly however. What i would liek to do is place A stock post from my Trans am and swithc it w/ my aftermarket one in the t/a since i am putting a system in the Trans Am, and the stocker will fit better and tighter in the Camaro.
Is this safe to do? How can you remove the stock one preoperly w/o damaging the cables? I can not find any aftermarket ones to fit the batter in the camaro properyl only the stock one so please inform me

i just usually push the **** out of it so that the head of the bolt slides out. Bascially, use your thumbs (on the threaded side) to push it out, you may have to manually turn the screw while pushing on it
