i believe that the door, and back seats are 6.5, and the backs are 5, or 5.5, but you can put 6x9's in there, and it will sound better.... Also, if you blew it because of too much bass, you might wanna think about a small sub in the back, they sound great, and will save you from havin to replace your speakers as often.

I had subs in my old car, but I don't want any subs for my LS1. I just want good speakers

do 5x7's fit in the back, do you have to drill at all. or make new mounting holes? BTW what are the speaker sizes in a 98 camoro with no monsoon, im assuming I dont have monsson because I dont have any speakers in the rear seat panel or a amp by the spare tire. Did the 98 monsoon have 6 speakers and a amp?

So you got all these hooked up to the factory wiring, including the rear sailpanels? how does it sound thinking about doing this and putting in my thunderform mtx box in the drivers side spot.....

If you cut the plastic out in the back 6x9's do fit. I have 6x9's.
