Alpine DVD bypass

Alpine DVD bypass Going to install a Alpine 310 dvd unit this weekend and I have a tech question. It tells me to wire it to both my foot brake cord and my parking brake lead so that car will have to be stopped in order to watch a dvd. Can I just straight wire it to another source and bypass the brake crap? Any suggestions would be most greatly appreciated.

thats what i was thinking. i looked at the circuit loop and thought i might be able to simply ground the leads. but i also thought i had read somewhere that there are motion sensors in the newer dvd's. give me a little more info if ya can Jimmy 2.
off topic, but WS6nJAX, do mind taking a pic of the dvd unit when you get it installed? I'm thinking about getting one, but I want to see what it looks like installed. Thanks.

the grounding is about what i was thinking. but why would i press the brake if i run both wires to the toggle? i will send ya some pics when i get done BLCKBRD.

Sorry guys but we need to lock this one. Helping people bypass this module is helping illegal activities and is very dangerous. We have enough bad drivers out there with enough distractions we dont need more. You can find this else where on the internet but not here.
