where to locate crossovers?

where to locate crossovers?

Guys or gals with comps where did you put your crossovers?

i usually put them in the door if theyll fit or as close to the speaker as you can

I put my crossovers behind the kick panels on both sides. There is a fair amount of room there. Then you can just pull the wires for the door speakers through the boot into the door.

This sounds like a good idea. I'd hate to locate them all the way back with the amp and run all that wire and I dont like sticking them in the door.

Thought about that but two things prevent it. One: my amp takes up the whole rack. two: I dont want to run all that wire if I dont have to. Locating them in the kicks is perfect for me. While I have the kicks off I can get a plug make as well, just in case I want to go with kickpanel speaker locations later.
