I have removed multiple things in my car. One thing in particular as an example is windshield wiper resevior. The electronics that go it, Can I cut wire excess or will that create problems? I have lots of wire excess I would like to get rid of.. any answers would be appreciated.

if it shorts out it could become a problem, possibly even dangerous. If your serious about weight reduction, why not take the entire wire out?

Id like to take the whole wire out.. It seems like there is no easy way. Under the looms and taped up with tons of other wires..

Cut it where you want and terminate-cap the ends to keep things in check IE shorts grounds ect. For the washer resv. with the level connector off you might have a low level light on if just disconnected. So you might have to splice those two together, not sure just a thought.
