how hard is it to add an additional amp?
how hard is it to add an additional amp? just say for instance you already have an amp in your car but you want to add a second amp. How hard is it? do you have to run all new wiring or can you just connect it to the old amp someway? thanks!
I have two amps and I just ran a single 4awg wire into a distribution block. In other words, single 4awg input and four 8awg outputs for the amps. I did the same for the grounds so they would be tied together to reduce any noise. You might need to run another set of RCA's for the new amp. Depends on how your system will be set-up.

As for the remote cable: Most HU can flow enough current to support 3-4 amps for turn on. I'd check the specs to be sure, but this is usually the case on almost everything I've ever worked on except a bad HU. So, you should be able to just jumper off the other Amp's remote and use that to turn on the second amp.
