Default open door sound alarm

is there a way to turn off the annoying beeping sound that goes off when ur driver's side door is open while u still have ur keys in? it'd be nice to be able to hear my music while i keep both doors open, without the addition of the constant beep.

thanks in advance!

Just turn the key more. It stops if you turn the key enough.

someone posted a write-up on it at one point. They created a switch that would disable the door chime. ya try searching some?

booo search! that means i gotta work to find it

actually, nah, i didnt think about searching til u said something. looks like there's a switch inside the door panel by the handle.. now im just wondering wut exactly does it look like? anyone got pics? the only things i remember off the top of my head were the connectors for the window controls, power locks, etc. but then again, i wasnt really paying attention for the open door sensor.

as far as turning the key over more, that kills my battery pretty quick - done it enuf to know.
