Watching a DVD while driving

How would one go about disabling that safety feature? It works off of the parking brake right? I actually haven't installed it yet but will soon. I'll be installing an in dash DVD receiver in my wifes 2001 Pathfinder.

If it does run off of the parking brake that'd be an easy solution........almost too easy

With the older stuff you just tie in the parking brake wire (usually green) with the ground and it will always see the brake as on. A lot of the newer stuff has gyrometers in them and can sense when they are moving, for those I believe you have to go internal and bypass the sensor.

This is given for information purposes only and is in no way intended to tell you how to bypass any safety features to allow you to watch video in a car while driving. I will not be held responsible if you get in a wreck based on stupidity.

It depends on the DVD players like for my Older Clarion DVD Player it was grounded and it is always on. For my friends new Pioneer DVD player they had to bypass it with a switch. He had it installed at a Curcit city and they did it for him.
