Default Front Speakers

What are some decent front door speakers for a Camaro WITHOUT monsoon?? I just installed my Alpine CDA-9856 h/u earlier today and I am wanting to upgrade my front speakers. I don't really wanna spend more than $100, but I want decent sound. What would you all recommend? I haven't gotten to search too much, but it looks like either Alpines or Kappas? Let me know what you all think would be best. And don't forget- i have NO monsoon. BTW, do most aftermarket speakers plug right into the stock speaker connectors? (sorry, im new to car audio )

$100 and decent sound are almos contradictory. Alpine type S is good sound and quality for around 100 bucks. You can buy speaker harness to make the install easier. If not, it's still pretty simple.
