indestructible ALPINE? ok here is the story:
i had a 89 blazer that i hit and electric fence with when i was mudding and it caught my blazer on fire and fried like all the electronics...so i got my cd player out and put it into my camaro and it pretty much spun the cd so fast it exploded....started smoking and i ripped it out with the sodder comming out if inside it....sent it into alpine got it back a week later saying they fixed it....ok i really dont want to put this back into my camaro and i have a 2 yr warranty from circut city....so i guess what im asking is how in the world can i make sure this thing wont be repaired and i can get a new one...ohhh also after it got fixed i gave it power and it started smoking again.....i just dont want to get another cd player if there is a way i can blow this up and get a new one through my warranty...lol any advise would be awesome

ok im not a scammer...if you had a 400$ cd player with a 2 year warrenty that YOU KNOW DIDNT WORK RIGHT.....you can not tell me you whould not want a new one...after you paid for the warranty to make sure if something ever happened to the unit it would be covered.....dont be stupid and act like all people are scammers....i feel like i have paid enough money that if i dont trust the repair that i should be able to get another unit regardless of how it is broken!!!!!!!!!!!
and dont worry im not going to do anything to it besides bitch and complain to circut city more and more till i can get what i want through my PAID warranty......

if they send it out three times and it doesnt resolve the problem you get anew one...or the dollar value that you paid on a gidt card for a new one. if you have sent it out once and it does not work...tell them to send it out again. if they send it out again and same thing ask to talk to the store director not roadshop manager and maybe he will let it slide then...
