Default Problem with monsoon

About two days ago my stereo starts to get all fuzzed out whenever i turn it up about 1/4 of the way. Both Radio and cd . I have no clue what is causing this. any ideas?

I'd check the connections to the head unit and amplifier. Make sure nothing has come loose. IF that doesn't help, it's likely a sign that your HU is going south on ya.

Thanks I'll check everything over. If my HU is shootin craps then thats just an excuse for something new. If I go that way, will stock speakers work with an aftermarket HU? I don't think they will.

Aftermarket head unit install is just like any other vehicle. The head unit channels feed the amp, so there is nothing special - it's plug and play with a harness.

Like todddchi said piece of cake, everything will work fine and probably sound much better. An aftermarket H/U will sound much cleaner.
