Blown Amp + Antenna?

I went out of town and my dad tried to drive the 2000 ws6 t/a since it was a nice day out. The car didnt start so he plugged the battery into the charger. Since then, the amp wont work at all with no signal on it that it is receiving any power, and the antenna wont load up. The amp was a Pheonix Gold 200.1 I believe. All the amp fuses checked clean.

If you need, I can post the full specs of everything when I get home. My question is, would this blow the amp + antenna, and then how do i fix the antenna?

Did you check your radio fuse?

Sounds like a problem with your turn-on lead.

Where is the radio fuse exactly?

But that wouldnt be affecting my amp at all since the cord runs from the battery straight to the amp?

Does your radio work?

The radio controls the turn-on lead. Without that signal going out, the power antenna would not rise, and the amp would not turn on.

Thus that's the first thing I'd check.

If your radio works fine, then post that up.

The radio works but very poorly, there is a signal but the stations are not clear. The amp does not work with cd either if that means anything.

here is one thing you can try, get a small peace of wire and jumper the + post to the remote wire one, if the amp comes on then it is a problem with your remote wire(turn on lead). if that does not work use a volt meter to make sure you are getting power to the amp. it sould like it blew the radio fuse of the fuse that is in line on you power wire going to the amp. as far as the antina i am not sure i have not had my ta for very long so don't know alot about those since mine has not worked since i got the car.
