Default aftermarket HU wattage with monsoon

so if i buy a aftermanrket HU and say it has 22rms watts, does this mean that only the front tweeters and rear speakers get that and the speakers powered by the monsoon amp gets whatever that amp puts out?

now that i type it out it seems that it would definately be that way....

well if this is true let me know haha.

oh, and what is the monsoon wattage????

You are correct, the tweeters in front and the 4inch rear speakers will be powered off the new hu you put in. The Monsoon hu I would think is around 17 watts rms, I did notice a improvement in how loud the highs were after I put in a Kenwood hu and I was able to turn off the lower freq so the woofers didn't sound like crap. Overall the sound should sound much better. I have a Kenwood HU and 4 infinity 62.7i's running off the stock Monsoon amp and 2 10 inch Memphis Audio 10's running off a MTX 450watts rms amp and sounds great.
