Default What u think of my choices :) subs/speakers for T/A upgrade

Stock speakers suck, so pulling all speakers and replacing with

Infinity APPA62.7I for fronts
Pioneer 6.5 Mid bass speakers for rear seat area-forget model #
Alpine 4" forget model ## for hatch

Infinity Kappa Perfect 10VDQ 2of these for rear in stealth boxes-one on each side, got the subtump stealths and an amprack from them

oh and this amp for the subs
Infinity REF1211A

If you are putting this stuff in a T/A, why would you put coax speakers in the doors? (62.7i) These speakers work good for camaros, but you have built in mounting for components in a T/A. I used the Kappa 60.7cs Comps in my doors, and they went in with minimal effort. Not to mention they have a higher rms rating, and come with crossovers. I'm just curious, sorry if this sounds like I'm flamin' ya.

I can vouge for the Kappa Perfects. I just got rid of my Camaro but I had two in the front and two in the back, powered through an Infiniti 4 Channel. With your choice of a subwoofer, its crisp and sounds awesome. I won a sound competition with that setup. Your car should sound real good when your done.

kappas are great speakers but i would definantly do compnents in the doors. i can also say the 1211a is a sweet amp, i own one and have put alot in customer cars and they always produce great results especialy with a quality sub like the KPs.

vouche

infinity is a decent brand, but they are correct, you have the spots for components and they are usually better then coaxial speakers....

Another vote for Kappas here. I did 6.5" components in the doors, 6.5" coax in the back seat area and completely disconnected the crap in the hatch. If you have subs back there, replacing those sail panel speakers is just a waste. I disconnected them and completely removed them. With a properly setup and tuned system, you won't notice them not being there.
