Default Help build me a speaker system!

Well Ive been doing alot of reading, but Im not an audio guru by any means. Only real reason why Im looking to change out my stock speakers is because theyve recently just started sounding like crap. I do however, like to listen to music constantly in the car so I definitely want to upgrade now.

Well here's the run down, I have a 1999 t/a, the rear hatch has 4ohm speakers and tweeters on each side, the sail panel has 2 4ohm speakers in them, and the doors have the speakers and two tweeters in there.

Im trying to figure out what to swap these all out with. Ive read some people only swapping some out. I would like to swap out all of them.

I also want to swap out the stock Delco amp. I do have access to a Pioneer gm-510t. Its 760w peak, 2 x 125w rms @ 4ohms, 2 channel. Not sure if I should use it at all.

I havent considered swapping out the deck yet, but it inevitibly will.

Ive read about Infiniti Kappa 62.7i's, Alpins sps-170a's, Infiniti Kappa 652.7i's etc etc as popular swaps. I dont know what to put where. Or if my amp I have access to is worth keeping/using or then what amp to use.

I dont want any subwofers in my car, I just want to replace the current speakers and possibly amp and/or headunit.

Sorry bout the long *** post. Help is appreciated.

I have a 2001 Formula. The monsoon system that came stock sounded good for the first couple years, then speakers started blowing and I got tired of replacing them. I eventually replaced all the stock speakers with Fusion speakers (have a friend that does sound competitions and thats what he used). I give them a good bang for your buck rating. I, unlike you, put 2 12"s in the car where the back seats used to be. I have a set of Fusion Jonah Lomu 5 3/4 components in the doors and they fit great. I have a set of Fusion Powerplant components in the hatch. In the middle, I left the 2 Rockford Fosgate 6.5" subs that I originally bought to replace the stock ones. Im sure the system would sound great without the 2 12"s, but I like the bass sometimes. I have found that Panasonic makes great headunits with CLEAR sound. Before my Panasonic head unit, I had an eclipse and upon installing the Panasonic, I immediately noticed the better sound quality. I wouldnt go for the Jonah Lomu series unless you want Highs that SCREAM! The powerplant series is priced reasonably and sounds good. As far as amps go, I would take the delco out and try to mount a good 4 channel in its place. Also, if you are afraid of low ETs at the track for reason of not installing subs, my car is an A4 with stock gears, tranny, and rear end and it runs a 12.9 at the track from intake, exhaust, a hypertech, and mac mid-length headers. I still need to get times without the 200 lb speaker box in the car.
