I also like all my wires hidden. where should i put the antenna? i do NOT want to put it on the roof of the car. will i be able to use it with my stock stereo deck or will i have to get an aftermarket unit? i know nothing about XM lol. also where should i mount the receiver? i was thinking in the glove box or something....i dont want that big honkin thing on my dash.

Depends where you live if you can do this or not.
Try putting the antenna under the plastic cowl in front of the windshield, or you could try in the rear spoiler (where the 3rd brake light is
As for where to mount it inside the car, try in the center console storage bin, the (as you said) glove box.
I've got mine mounted on the TCS switch panel (roady2) it looks pretty good there (and the illumination is red matches my T/As dash lights)
If it has a built in FM modulator you can use it with the stock head unit, if the unit requires 6v only, you can wire in a hidden cig lighter plug, and hide it behind the console

I put mine under the hood on the RH shock tower. Ran the wire through the fire wall.

That won't work unless you have an SS, WS6, or Firehawk. The rest have metal hoods that would block the signal.

thanks guys...i have the stock ac delco system in my car. personally i think its a pile of crap. i mean it used to sound good, its a 6 speaker system, but the two that only put out the mids and lows, the one voice coil is blown and only works when it get back in contact with eachother. im not real big into stereo systems, and i like the stock look. how do i get regular speakers to only put out mids and lows like the stock ones? what brand and model should i use? my head deck sucks also, the lights in the buttons are blown and it drives me crazy. im just completely lost in this stuff now....i used to be into it, but now i like going fast lol. i would like to get this xm radio in and have a decent alittle louder than stock stereo. thanks for any help

I've got a Roady XT for my car. The antenna sits between the hatch opening and the stock antenna so it's not super noticable. I hooked up a hidden lighter plug under the center stack and behind the console and ran the wire into the armrest console and ran the antenna wire up into it as well. I can't see the display but have my favorites set and just hit the buttons to change stations. It works and still looks stock.
