Boston Acoustics?
Boston Acoustics? My dads looking for some new speakers for his truck. He found a killer deal on Boston acoustics, and wants to buy them. He asked me to ask around to see if they are any good before he buys them.
I have a pair of Rally Series Boston Acoustics that sounded great and I bought them used! I'm just now upgrading to CDT component 6.5 midbass...I got a ridiculous deal I couldn't pass up on these. The CDT's are up there with Focal. Bostons are like JL Audio quality (depending on the model)..excellent for the money with nice mid bass...your dad should like them fine!!

While I probably am not hitting much over 130db with my current set up, the sound quality is perfect for me. I have 2 Alpine R series fed by a thousand watts of fosgate power and a thousand watts of kenwood power feeding the boston pro components.
IMO, your selection depends more on what kind of music you listen to than the acoustics of the car. I dig hair nation on sirius, old rock and metal. JBLs ofer great highs, Kicker offers great bass for rap.
