Default help on installing infiniti 62.7i speaker

Hi,
I just got my new infinity 62.7i 6.5 inch speakers. I took out the old speaker and I mounted the new infiniti speaker but the 4 existing holes are a shy too big. Is there some kind of adapter plate that i can buy or do i have to drill the holes to get the new speaker to fit.
If anybody has installed these speakers in their car before please help me. Thanks guys....

there should have been a metal clip with a hole in it that came with the speakers.

the only metal clips that i had were on the original speakers that were with the car. I have not found any clips that came with the new speakers.

i would talk to whoever you bout them from, they should have been there, have you tried the old ones? They might work, good luck. You can alway make your own to if you need.

sorry guys. I found the clips. They were stuck to the bottom of some cardboard. This is all I need though. I'll try this and see if they work

Ahh, I was confused when I seen your PM to me, yes, the stock clips will work or the ones that come with the 62.7i's, put them in, then hold them down with some type of tape. Is tough getting the clips to stay in place there when the speaker moves and saves alot of time from them falling into the hole or sticking to the speakers magnet.
