prob with Monsoon and power windows at same time I have a 2000 Z28 . I have a problem with the radio and power windows. While driving the car and listing to the radio all of a sudden the radio will go off and the power windows will stop working. Then about 1 min or less the power comes back on and the radio will work and the windows will work. My mechanic thought he fixed the problem by replacing the ignition switch under the dash. This did not correct the problem. Please help!!! Any advice is greatly appreciated We have been working on this for about 3 weeks now and have still not found a solution. So any help would be wonderful!!
I think it probably has something to do with the PCM or the module that controls Retained Accessory Power. I know I have heard of this problem before, but I don't remember the solution.

Well fisrt off thanks for your reply man. I hope that ythe problem is in the BCM (Body Control Module) It controlls the ignition switch and a whole crap load of other stuff. Including the radio and the power windows. I looked at the schematic on Friday. I think this may help after it is replaced. At least I sure hope it does man. It costs enough!!! I orderd the BCM on Friday and should be here today sometime. We shall see if it fixes the problem.
