Mounting CD Changer in Glovebox

Can it be done? It opens on the left side, and I thought if I cut out the bottom of the glovebox, I could mount it on the inside, but it hits the latch on the left side that holds the glovebox shut. I thought about mounting it in the dash so to speak so that when you lowered the glovebox, it would be sitting there (would still require cutting, but it seems like it is too long. Any ideas? Dimensions: 9 15/16" W x 6 7/8" D x 3 1/2" H

that sounds like a cool idea... might be a little hard to make fit but yeah deffenitly doable... why not mount it on the space under the dash where the center councel ends?
