Default C2 gauges too bright

How to make them work with the switch so you can set how bright you want them? is there a way to do that with the car switch?

Instructions shoulda told you to either wire the positive feed of the lighting circuit to a wire under the dash that controls the dimming of the rest of your dash lights = gage lights will dim using stock switch

- or -

If you just wired the positive to a +12v line = no dimming

My new AM UltraLiteII gages came with LED bulbs instead of the regular style - they were much brighter than the rest of the gage lights even when the dimming switch was turned all the way down (i.e. by the time the AM gages were at the brightness I wanted - the rest of the dash lights were out).

I ended up buying the AM optional diming control box for all my AM gages. They are now wired to that dimming control and dim seperately from the rest of the gages - so I can keep the regular dash lights at the level I like and dim all the AM gages seperately.

Check the dimming control here:

Yes sir, thats what I was looking for thanx
If I want to keep using the switch in the car, wich wire is the one for the lead, the red 12v or the white one, the instructions are not very clear on that

If you want to use the factory dimmer you can tap into the dark green wire at the dimmer switch or the gray wire in the black 10-pin connector at the back of the radio. There are two gray wires in that connector - you want the one that is between the brown and the pink (Firebird) or between the brown and the empty spot (Camaro).
