Default battery gauge drop

when i use my A/C my battery gauge drops if im at idle does this happen to anything else? is this normal? thanks.

It's normal as long as it doesn't drop into the red zone of the gauge. Mine doesn't drop when stopped at a light with the air on until the engine fan also kicks in - then it will drop to just above the top of the red zone.
