Default Pioneer Head Unit Owners

This is really to anyone with a Pioneer Headunit with an Organic OEL or whatever display (Dolphins, Race cars, spaceships, Needle Gauges, etc). I have a DEH-P7600MP, but Im sure its the same through them all.

I dont have my manual, but had a question. My display alternates between blue/black, and an inverse type which is like teal. Is there anyway to turn this off? I hate the way it looks when it inverses, and it annoys me. I know this is a shot in the dark, but TIA,
John

While the head unit is off and the key is on, displaying only the clock on the radio, press #5. This will shut it off.

Here is a link to the owners manual. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...622965,00.html

Ah thanks, I know it also has some lame demo mode, and It says hit 5 to disable, I assumed it meant hit 5 to disable the demo mode. Thanks for the manual link, its been a while since I used this HU, only had it in my last car for like a week before pulling it and putting stock back in to sell it. I forgot just how much it did. Thanks again.
