Is it possible to DIY automatic windows? I have the manual roll-em-down windows in my 99 Camaro. When I bought the car, the dealer said they could install automatic for only like $200, which I should have accepted but oh well heh. I'm thinkin of doing it now though, and I assume it would cost a bit more than that unless I did them myself. Which I don't know if that's even possible, but my friend suggested the idea.

hmm... what color is your car? what i did on my 91 to save hassel, was get power doors off of a donor car. if you can find some your cars color, or your car needs repainted, could be cheaper than having someone do it. some audio shops do it. there was one in SOCAL that did it for like 150 or some ****.

Hmm never thought of swapping doors. My car's white. I'll keep my eyes peeled for someone parting an F-body, but if I don't find one (which I prolly won't in my area), would ordering parts from GM be expensive? I don't know what all I would need. A motor and a switch, I would guess. Some sort of cover to put in place of the current roller arm once it's removed.
