Yeah.. just express down isn't worth the hassle. I bought a 530T and 519T to get remote auto-down and non-remote auto-up. It was a major PITA.

Get us something that's plug-n-play auto-down/up and you're on to something. (around $100 to $110) Get something that includes an auto-up on the lock pulse and auto-down on the unlock pulse (both enabled via jumper settings) and you can probably charge $150 for it.

Heck, I'd buy that for $150 and pull out the 530t just to clean up the wiring in my door/dead pedal area.

And of course making one of these for a bottle opener would also be great...

As far as this unit you guys are referring to, I dont think the price would stay below $150 including the DEI unit...the pigtails arent cheap at all. We havent really looked into it anymore since this thread. Would any of you happen to have a wiring diagram for the installation of this DEI unit and the best place to get one for testing?

I am one of a few who actually completed the Passenger Window Express Mod, about two months ago. I got the instructions off of Brent Frankers page. At first when I saw this mod I was like "OH man im tottally doiong this!", however I clicked on the link and a huge page of information came up. I was like "Ahh screw this" because I didnt want to read it all. But then I came back to the page again and said to myself that I would give it a shot. So I ended printing out the highly detailed instructions, which made it a walk in the park. I then just followed the instructions and it was pretty simple I would have to admit. I dont have any electrical skills at ALL and I completed it within 3 hours. Should take you 45minutes to 1hour if you do have skills.

I love the feature, it kicks so much ***, also lets me pay attention to the road for a couple more seconds. Just looks sleeker too. I bought the module thing for what 13$ off a parted vehicle on here. I had tons of replies when I had the wanted ad for the power window control module. So that was pretty easy. Its one of my favorite mods I have done appearance wise, so if your thinking of doing it, just print out the page and give'er.

I did it myself about 3 months ago. I bought the module new along with the connector. Its the best mod ever since I use it absolutely every time I use the car.

Im all about the plug and play casue I suck at spelling and wrencing. A little pricey but if it lasts along time, ie. longer than the stupid *** motors in the windows, im down like james brown... before he got arrested though.

While holding down the passenger window button and making sure you finger doesnt slip off the button from stopping the window from going down. You can have your windows go down synchronized. I dont know about you but my finger always slipped off the passenger button, had to focus on the road. Also it looks sweet seeing 2 windows go down at the same time rather then different times.

Both windows go down at the same speed now because they are fed power from their own local module.

We actually recently installed our device in a test car. The install took about 20 minutes including removal of te door panel. It works flawlessly and boh windows go down at the touch of both buttons. Hopefully we have time to test this DEI unit you all are referring to.
