Default monsoon CD headunit problems

Hey all, I have a 2000 camaro with the 500w monsoon cd player. Problem is I was driving home one day and the cd player just ejected a burned CD midway through playing and brought up error (Err) on the screen. I tried putting in other cds and it just says error and keeps ejecting and flashing the (Err) code every 2 to 5 seconds. Big problem is it continues to try to eject something every 5 seconds even when the car is off, dont want it to kill my battery. Is there a way I can reset the cd player or try fixing this on my own? any comments or suggestions would be great. Thanks

-Philip

http://mods.firebirdv6.com/stereo.html#FBEAQ_14 Dunno if this will help, but it at least tell you what the error code means. My monsoon was giving me problems...had to send it back twice before it was fixed (through the dealer) and it cost me 200 bucks. Good luck

Thanks for the help man, it doesnt have a code just "Err", but I pulled the positive connection on the battery to reset the headunit. It works fine now, but well see in the next week what the deal is. Thanks again and any other help would be appreciated.
