Stereo/Electrical problem Sometimes when I shut off my car my head unit completely turns off as if the keys were out and the doors were open. Also, when it does that, my windows won't roll up. It doesn't always do this, it's kind of hit or miss. Also, sometimes it doesn't even come on at all when i turn the key.
Awhile back I let my battery run down on accident, and I think the problem might have started after that, but I'm not positive.
I'm trying to figure out a possible list of causes for the problem as I might be selling my car and want to get it fixed before I do.
Anyone wanna take a stab at it?

Sounds like one of the door switches is out of alignment or has gone bad making the BCM think the door is open. The switch is mounted to the door latch. There is a limited amount of adjustment and sometimes they just need cleaning and adjusting.
