how to install gauges?

Gauge Installs???? Okay, anyone know how to hook up a fuel pressure gauge on an LS1? Also, a water temp gauge. I got them for a pillar pod, and i don't know where to hook them up. Help Please? Any info on any guages would be helpful too. Thanks

Did you order them with the correct sized adapters/sending units? You will need to drill for the water temp gauge, and the fuel pressure will mount in the end of the fuel rail.

Here...follow this thread for the water temp guage. It gives you a couple of locations to put it at along with links on where to get the adapter kit for it.

As for the fuel pressure guage, you'll need an adapter as well for it to work. Here is what I got. You'll need to take out the shrader valve on the end of the rail for it to work.

Also check out some of the sponsors for that adapter if you're wanting to get an anodized one. I know some of them sell them seperately.
As for the wiring, just follow the directions that come with the guages. They are pretty simple. I ended up just using the interior fuse box for 12 volt sources.
