Default those who installed dynamat did u?????????

if u installed dynamat on your doors did u remove the factory plastic cover , or did u go over it? Did u use more than 1 layer, and did u go up and down or side to side? Just curious on how i'm gonna do mine ,and if anyone had any sugguestions.

If you go over the plastic (bad idea) it won't really dampen anything.

Remove the plastic sheet and discard it (or have fun trying to put it over the dynomat).

This is mine. I kept the plastic off. You don't need it.The Dynamat will act as a moisture barrier as well.

I have done mine and I went side to side, and left the access holes open in the door. Pics are at my office computer

i left the plastic off and put it on side to side.. double layered it near the speakers

Yes. Trunk, doors and floor area of driver/passenger (best areas to work!)

Notice some but not a huge difference. Did notice my doors sound like they shut alot more solid though.
