Default Anybody put an amp where the 12 disk changer was??

Just like the title says- anyone ever do this??? My amp just fits in there and I was thinking of mounting it there until I get my second amp and amp rack. Are there any reasons I shouldn't put it there??

Yea, you can do that as long as the amp fits in that slot. I put one on the back wall and one in that little cubby, it fits fines and there is nothing under there that you can break.

I don't see why not and I would fab up a 1/2" or 3/4" Board to mount the amp to. You can use some carboard to get a outline of the space.

I just got done installing my MTX amp there and I think that it looks great. Almost stock. I am very happy with the results. Now on to my next project tomorrow.......
mounting 8" subs in the sail panels.
