Default Rear Seat Speakers

Hey, i blew the original subs that were there, and i was wondering what would be a good replacement. I put in kicker midranges, but it sounds like one is ripped, but i cant find any tears, any advice? Aslo, what would be another idea of what else i could put in there, any comments would help. Thanx!

Hey! I just put some 6.5" MA Audio subs in my 02'WS6 yesterday and in my opinion with the existing speakers, it sounds great! I will replace all of the speakers with MA Audios as time goes on, I just couldn't stand the "popping" sound of the delcos. Good Luck!

I got the MA Audio speakers from Meggamax.com. They are true subs, I really like the sound of them. They bolt right up, the only thing is I would have a professional installer put them in due to the wiring harness' and in all keeping it "neat". Good Luck!

Hey, Meggamax.com does not seem to work, at least on my computer. Do you know of anywhere else I could get the MA 6.5 Subs, or if there is another site for meggamax???

I would go to MA Audio's website www.MAAudio.com They should be able to have a contact number where you can call and find a distributor in your area. I do have Meggamax's # 770-439-1073. Beware though, they are somewhat vauge and have a little bit of an ego , but they do have quality equipment...Good Luck!

I just bought a set of Kenwood 6.5" subs for that spot in my car, but they haven't gone in yet. I'm using an Orion 222sx amp to drive them. I still need to get 6.5" components for the front (which will be driven by a PPI 25x2 amp) and then the system will be installed in about two weeks.

hey, all i can find at MA Audio's site are 6x9's. Cant seem to find the 6.5's you were talking about. I was thinking about using the wiring for the original subs and extending the wires to the hatch and putting the 6x9's in where those lil 4 inch comps are. Then wiring some components where the subs were, would that work???

Go here...
http://www.maaudio.com/productcatalog.cfm?class=394

I wouldn't change the wiring to the back speakers, I'd leave them as is w/a mid and high. Just replace the factory speakers w/aftermarket.

This is a fact! I don't know s#$? about wiring that's why I paid someone to install. I'm good at a lot of things, but wiring isn't one of them...
