Fuel Cut-Off switch?
Don't know if this belongs here, but I figure it's a good place to start......
A friend of mine picked up a crashed 2001 Z28 to part out and install the LS1 in his RX7. When they tried to fire it up, it would run for a short period of time and cut off, so he emailed me this question.......
[quote]hi, i needed help resetting the fuel cut-off sensor that's triggered in a crash. Would anyone know how to bypass or hotwire this mechanism?[quote]
Has anyone heard of this or can offer any help? Your input is appreciated. Aloha, Dave

I'm pretty sure our cars don't have one. That's a Ford thing I believe.
Even if we do have them, they would prevent the car from running AT ALL. If it starts and dies it has other issues.

I know the Ford trucks have them (at least the power strokes) but I do not think ours do, if it did and was in the on position it would not run.
I think it has other issues.

The VATS. The anti theft system? Did he use the original key with the pellet? or did he bypass that option all together with the rx7? he will have to shut that off with ls1-edit or something? I am new to the site, but have been reading everything in the last 2 weeks. just my .02. if it is even worth that. Laters.
