Speaker options?

Speaker options? I blew one of my speakers with the Monsoon setup. I was wondering what my options were for a new speaker. I thought that I heard that you can't use aftermarket speakers with the Monsoon amp. Is this right? I really don't want to change everything in my car. My system is stock except for a JL box and a small Alpine amp.

Re: Speaker options? You can use any speakers with the monsoon setup, or just grab the stock speakers from a local recycle shop or from GM, they arent that expensive. Just make sure the speakers arent too good as better speakers require more power. If possible get a set of cheap paper cone woofers or a cheap set of coaxials with a RMS of around 30 watts, they will work well with the stock setup. If you blew a factory sub there really isnt much better than the stock subs, Ive tried a lot and found that they are actually pretty decent!
