Re: Stock AMP location? It is mounted backwards on a piece of metal above the wheelwell in the spare tire compartment. It is black and has one big plug on the opposit side of what you can see. If you follow the antenna cable towards the front of the car you will see the amp on the backside of that metal bracket as you get close to to top of the wheelwell. If you have any problem finding it let me know. I run a car stereo shop.

Re: Stock AMP location? I believe that in all the 98+ f bodies that the Monsoon amp is located in the rear spare tire area. Take the cover off the spare tire out and it is a black box approximately 5x7 in size. It's in the top portion of the spare tire well. Good luck and I hope I helped you out.
