pics of sub boxes.... I'de like to see some sub boxes that fill the well enclosure. Im thinking about getting a sub thump well enclosure box for my 2 12" L7's. Anybody with a similar setup?

Yes, I know they are 2 different subs. I'm a poor student right now. They were free.

Thats my sub box, i have two 10" s in it but you can get a box to fit 12" s in it, Its a Qlogic box and it is custom for the camaro/firebird, its about 300 dollars already and comes to fit the color too, kinda, my color i chose was too gray when i got it, so i had it dyed darker to match better, and that cost me about 60. my two amps are under the box and in the cubby hole opposite of the spare tire. this box makes it look like it came from the factory, but kinda pricy, if have any questions, just ask, the box may be cheaper now, i bought it like two years ago

Re: pics of sub boxes.... i bought it from Ciruit City, they had to order it from Q Logic,,, when i bought it; it was about 300 dollars, but i think the prices have dropped alot since then, i think they are about 220 or so and you pick your color and it may match close, or be off alittle, when i got mine, it was too light so i had an interior specialist dye it for me, and then he matched the color of the grills so it would match the two grils( the stock ones) i have two 10"'s you can get two 12"s but for more money, i like it compared to all the other boxes becuase it looks like it came from the factory, if any more questions, just ask

Re: pics of sub boxes.... sorry, i don;t have the demensions, are you trying to make a box? if you are, make sure you seperate the two subs and keep the internal volume at .65 for 10" subs and .75 12" subs,,, if you have no too much or too little, the sub will not perform at its best. also check with the sub you have or going to buy and see what it requires. my box is screwed down, so i couldn;t measure it. the way mine is, it sits on the little edges on the side near the spare and the cubby hole,

the sub amp is MTX THUNDER4250D; Class D amp; 350x1; but i have it bridged because of two speakers, so i could be getting about 200 per sub or so
the main speakers amp is MTX THUNDER4244; 4 channel amp; 100x4 watts

I did/am. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Looks just like the ones from SubThump.com for dual 12's. I think total cost involved was about 40 bucks. Looks great. I done have any pics yet, will get some this weekend.
Made it from 3/4" particle board. Was prety easy, did some trial and errors but I'll tell ya what. After its installed it looks awesome. Like it BELONGS there. Even covered it in vinyl to match the color of the interior (cost= 14 bucks). If you want more info/tips on doing it let me know, Ill Email Ya.

Re: pics of sub boxes.... MY BOX Made it myself in two days. One day of construction, and a couple hours the second day covering and wireing. Looks great, and cost less then 50 bucks. Cant beat that. Re: pics of sub boxes.... I have the boxes that fit in the inner fender wells. I got the on on the driverside at some stereo shop (should be able to find it anywhere) and the one for the passengerside I found a guy in San Antonio that makes them but it doesnt fit perfect like I would like it to. I like it though cause if frees up space, I can put the ttops in the holders on the nice days and use it for storage other days.
Re: pics of sub boxes.... although it doesnt fill the well it is an awsome enclosure and holds 2 12's and 2 8's. has an amp rack and you can still store your t-tops. If anyone is interested in somthing like this it is for sale so drop me a line if you or anyone you know might be interested in it
