Installing amp. Before or after stock Amp?

Installing amp. Before or after stock Amp? Ive installed two 12" subs and now have to wire in the amp. Since theres no RCA plug on the stock system, Im getting a Covnerter. Do I install it before or after the stock amplifier?

Re: Installing amp. Before or after stock Amp? ttt....I need to know also. Do I NEED to install behind the HU, or can I do it off a rear speaker. Should I splice into the wires going to the middle subs, or from the rear speakers? Thanks!!

Re: Installing amp. Before or after stock Amp? I just installed a sub amp last weekend. I used the rear left and right speaker inputs to the Monsoon amp. My sub amp had high-level inputs, it also had input sense so I didn’t have to run a remote. Sounds great with the stock stereo, I just need a remote crossover control to tune it.

Re: Installing amp. Before or after stock Amp? I've replaced an Ls1 motor, did a heads and cam swap, and all the bolt-ons...but I have no idea where the monsoon amp is <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> Can someone clue me in...thanks!!!!

Re: Installing amp. Before or after stock Amp? One of the great people on this board gave me this link when I was wiring my amp. The colors of the wires did not match mine (maybe because I have a vert) but the pin out was correct. I didn't find any DC at all on the inputs (maybe millivolts). Now that i have a sub, I got the bug, I want a head unit now! No, I better save for those headers... Good luck!
