TA headlight motor?
To raise the lights manually, there is a rubber cover that you pull off and then there is a little **** that you turn. It is pretty hard to get to and it takes a while to raise them up. If it does turn out to be a motor, I may have my original around the garage if my parents didn't throw it away. I won't know until Christmas break when I get back home.
A new motor is about $100 new if you know where to look. Most dealerships want $155 when the GM list is $130. I paid $111 with tax at my local dealership.
It will take about an hour.

Make sure you have a good set of tools and a little patience.
Don't try it if you have no mechanical experience.
