ANyone have demensions for a stealth box?

ANyone have demensions for a stealth box? I am going to run a JL 10w6, and i want to put it where the spare is, but i dont want to buy a box. does anyone know how i can make this myself? is it possible. i would appreciate any help. thanks

I could give you dimensions on my drivers side stealth box if you'd like. There really isn't too much to making the box. Take off your passenger side cover panel and use it as a template for the face of the box, then measure the area where the spare will be removed from. You can use cardboard to fab up a mock box and use it to get the dimensions for the real box.

Re: ANyone have demensions for a stealth box? I made one for my 12" sub out of fiberglass. It isn't had to do... maybe a little messy because you tend to do bit of grinding off of corners so they fit better and all.

Re: ANyone have demensions for a stealth box? i'd be interested in the measurements.. i have an 00 z28 and want a stealth box for a 10" (preferably the driverside)... i've got some time off from work (laid off hehehe) so i have time to make it.. also wondering if i can use the wood from a particle-board desk to build it? or should i just go get MDF?

Re: ANyone have demensions for a stealth box? You could use the particle board, but depending on the type it might suck. MDF is relatively cheap so I'd say just pick some up. I'll try to get the dimensions soon and post them up.
