FiberGlass Sub THump Box? I built my own dual sub box similar to the dual subthump box. Constructed of wood and covered with vinyl. Looks great but I've been wanting to give it a more professional and custom look and thought of making one from fiberglass. I figure it shouldnt be too complicated. I'll just stick with the plans I used for my wooden one, and do some slight modification to the top mounting portion. Id like the subs mounted on an elevated and slightly forward angled hump.
Covering will either be painted or vinyl. I think the vinyl blends in better with the interior but the painted fiberglass has an awesome look to it. Which I think might be a little too much. Anyone done something like this?
Whats your thaughts?

Re: FiberGlass Sub THump Box? Here's a pic of my setup. It's molded fiberglass an color match painted to te car. It was a little pricy and the stuff has to be hand sanded smooth as hell to paint, but it's really sweet looking.
